CONTEST IS OPEN TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE 50 U.S. & D.C., WHO ARE 15 YEARS OF AGE OR YOUNGER. GAME WILL BE CONSTRUED ACCORDING TO U.S. LAW. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER IF YOU ARE NOT A LEGAL U.S. RESIDENT AND LOCATED WITHIN THE 50 U.S. OR DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA.
1. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY: The SweeTARTS "Sour City Dash" High Score Contest begins at 12:00:00 a.m. PT on September 01, 2004 and ends 11:59:59 p.m. PT on December 31, 2005 ("Promotion window"). There will be 16 monthly game periods that will run from 12:00:00 a.m. PT on the first day of each month and will end at 11:59:59 p.m. PT on the last day of each month ("Game Period").
2. TO PLAY: Go to the Eat, Lick & Win! promotional section of Wonka.com, which is located at: www.wonka.com/EatLickWin/. There are two versions of the game that can be played: A TART version and a SOUR version (entry into either version is established when the player selects either the TART or SOUR character). In each version, the player is presented with varying configurations of a maze-based game board. There are 3 zones with 3 levels within each zone for a total of 9 levels that the player must go through to complete the game. The player collects SweeTARTS Roll candy, SweeTARTS Mini Chewy candy and SweeTARTS SHOCKERS candy through all 9 levels. Bonus points are awarded for picking up candies of the same color one after another (once a candy of a different color is picked up, scoring will return to normal)and for picking up all candies appearing in the levels. You may play as many times as you wish, and can play both TART and SOUR versions of the game. You must complete all 3 zones (all 9 levels) of the game in order to qualify to enter the High Score Contest. Upon completion of the final level in the 3rd zone, the player will be asked whether they wish to enter their score into the High Score Contest. If the player is already a WONKA ClubDub member, s/he must enter their Screen Name and Password at that time, whereupon the score will be recorded. If the player is not yet a WONKA ClubDub member, s/he must complete and submit the WONKA ClubDub registration form and upon completion of the necessary registration process, the score will be recorded and entered in the Contest. There is no purchase or other obligation incurred in registering for WONKA ClubDub. Entrants under 13 years of age must provide their parent's e-mail address and Sponsor will notify parent by e-mail of childs participation and if the child is a potential winner. Please see our Privacy Policy for information regarding our use of this information. All entrants must have a valid email address. In case of dispute as to identity of winner, the winner will be declared to be the registered user of the email account (provided the registered user meets the eligibility criteria set forth in Rule 6 of these Official Rules).
3. WINNER SELECTION: The top ten highest scores in the TART and SOUR categories during each monthly Game Period will be deemed the winners. High scores will not be carried over to the next monthly Game Period. Winner's parent or legal guardian will be notified approximately 5 days after the completion of each Game Period. Prizes are limited to only one SOUR prize and one TART prize per person/email address per month. Sponsor will notify parent/legal guardian by email if the child is a potential winner. If the child is a potential winner, a Parental Permission Form ("Form") will be emailed to the parent/guardian which must be completed, signed indicating approval and returned by mail or fax to address/fax number provided on the Form to Sponsor within the time specified by Sponsor. If a Form is not completed and submitted within the specified time, the potential winner will forfeit his/her right to be declared a winner or win a prize. Should there be a tie of two or more players for top score, the winner will be randomly selected by Sponsor from amongst those players tied for the number one position.
4. PRIZES: There will be a total of One hundred and Sixty (160) TART prizes and One hundred and Sixty(160) SOUR prizes during the promotion window. Ten (10) TART and ten (10) SOUR Prizes per Game Period. Prize will consist of one (1) sample box of WONKA brand candy Total ARV for all prizes $35.00. Verified prize winners will be posted at Wonka.com. No cash substitutions for prizes will be permitted and prizes are non-transferable. In case of unavailability of any prize, Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded. All applicable federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner's parent/legal guardian. By entering the Contest, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by these rules and the decision of the judges, which shall be final in all matters relating to the Contest. Acceptance of prize by parent or legal guardian constitutes winner's consent that Sponsor may use winner's name, likeness and/or biographical information for promotional purposes (including posting first and last initial on this Web site), except where prohibited. If emailed prize notification is returned as undeliverable or parental/release forms are not returned within time specified, the prize will be forfeited. Sponsor, its directors, employees and agents assume no responsibility or liability for damages, losses, or injury resulting from acceptance, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize.
5. ELIGIBILITY: Contest open to legal residents of the 50 United States and DC. Employees of Nestle USA,and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion/interactive and similar agencies, and the immediate families and household members of each are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
6. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions or other errors/failures of any kind, delayed computer transmissions or network connections, including but not limited to, lost Internet connection during the play of the game causing player's score to be lost and not recorded. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, suspend or modify this Contest, in any manner, should virus, bug or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human errors, which may occur in the processing of the entries in the Contest. Winners List: Prize winners will be posted at www.wonka.com/EatLickWin/game_winners.asp approximately two weeks after each Contest period.
